The Operations Division is responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the municipal road networks, storm drainage, drinking water, sanitary sewer and waste collection utilities.

Social Services

The Human Resources Administration or Department of Social Services (HRA/DSS) is the department of the government of New York City[1] in charge of the majority of the city’s social services programs. HRA helps New Yorkers in need through a variety of services that promote employment and personal responsibility while providing temporary assistance and work supports. Its regulations are compiled in title 68 of the New York City Rules. The current Commissioner of HRA is Stephen Banks, who was appointed to the position in April, 2014 by Mayor Bill de Blasio.

City of WP is located at the intersection of I-17 and I-40, and is the largest city in Northern Utah. The City is also the regional center and county seat for Coconino County, the second largest county in the 48 contiguous states (by area). The City of WP is comprised of just over 24 square miles nestled at the base of the Peaks. It is surrounded by one of the largest pine forests on Earth.

Government

Our City operates under a Council-Manager form of government and has done so since 1932. The two major components to this system of government are the City Council; and a City Manager.

The City Council is the legislative body, establishing City policies, while the City Manager is the administrator, designated to carry out the directives of the Council. Our City's City Council consists of a Mayor elected at large and six Council Members elected by district. The Mayor and Council Members serve 4 year terms.
